Research-focused PhD admissions advising
for STEM applicants.

Applying to PhD programs is more than grades and test scores. Strong applications demonstrate research potential, intellectual fit, and a clear understanding of your future goals. I help students build competitive applications by refining personal statements, perfecting statements of purpose, developing balanced school lists, and identifying advisor and lab matches. I provide practical guidance grounded in firsthand experience with STEM research and based on my experience mentoring undergraduates through this process.

GRE Advising

Students commonly wonder if they need to take the GRE or the GRE subject tests and how much a good GRE score matters for their application. I will help you determine if you need to take the GRE based on the advisors you are interested in working with. I also scored a 167 on the GRE and can help you build a plan to succeed if you intend on taking the test.
